ROTTENNESS is a death metal/grindcore band formed in Mexico in 1994 and now based in the United States. After Matthias Joyce, who has been active in various bands, joined the band, they released a full-length album on Poland’s Selfmadegod label and have been actively performing live shows all over the world as death metal road warriors . Their brutal sound combines the driving force of extreme death metal and grindcore. They will tour Japan in 2023, appearing at Asakusa Deathfest and Obscene Extreme. A 24-date USA and Asia tour will begin in October 2025.
SAINTBREAKER is a thrash death metal band from Arizona, USA, active since 2013. They have independently released two full-length albums and will embark on a two-week West Coast tour in June 2025. Their sound combines sharp thrash metal riffs, a mosh-worthy crossover vibe, and the heaviness of death metal. This is a split album commemorating the Japan tour, featuring eight tracks by ROTTENNESS and SAINTBREAKER.
